Recommend Someone for an Award

Awards are a great way for people to get recognition for the wonderful things that they do within the Kingdom.  Most Kingdom awards are decided upon by the Crown from recommendations sent in by the populace. They count on the members of the populace to help them become aware of the great deeds and hard work that the people of our fair Meridies do.

You can check the Meet the Populace page to see which awards members of the Shire populace currently have.

Radiant Tower Awards:
The Radiant Tower is a shire award given to those that have enriched the shire through great talent and hard work. It is an unofficial award to show appreciation from the shire. While it is allowed (and encouraged) for a person to receive the same award multiple times, the populace should be encouraged to write others in for kingdom awards when nominating those who already have a related award.
  • The Radiant Tower - You get the tower with the first award, subsequent awards just the colored ribbon.

  • Service (yellow ribbon) - Those that have enriched the shire through hard work and dedication.

  • Dressed to Kill (purple ribbon) - Those that have worked tirelessly to create a killer wardrobe.

  • Newcomer's Award (blue ribbon) - Those that are new to the shire that have jumped in with both feet to help out the shire as a whole.

  • Fighting (red ribbon) - Those that show great bravery and skill in the fighting field. This includes all types of Marshal combat.

  • A&S (green ribbon) - Those that embrace the world of arts and science and that have dedicated time and energy to create in the ways of history.

  • Live Weapons (orange ribbon) - Those that show great dedication and skill on the range with archery and/or thrown weapons.

  • Most chivalrous (white ribbon) - It is worth taking particular note that the Chivalry Award is not exclusive to fighters or to chivalry on the field. In fact, since fighters are expected to be chivalrous on the field as a matter of course, chivalric acts off the field should be taken into consideration equally if not more-so that those on the field.
